Brethren:
January was a wet month and our building weathered the storms without a hitch. At our January board meeting the following were elected: President, George Whitten; Vice-president, Woody Purdy; Treasurer, Joe Zusin; Secretary, Guy Chalmers. I know we are all looking forward to a prosperous year for our building and our association and we will work together to accomplish this. Our recent lodge installation was great, partly because of the “sprucing up” done in late December of cleaning the carpets, polishing the dining room floor and a good scrub down of the kitchen. Congratulations to the officers of both the lodge and the association. Also, we now have an opening on the board. If you are interested see one of the board members and let us know.
We received a lot of compliments about our building the day of the installation, something we should be proud to hear. Your association strives to make our building one that we can all be proud of. Keeping it that way requires due diligence and at times hard work. We can use all of the help we can get in this regard. Our next work party is Saturday, February 6th at 9am. Again, we have breakfast at 8am at a local restaurant and work from 9am to 12pm, the tab picked up by the association. Ask one of the board members for the location of the breakfast. Please join us in keeping our building the pride of our lodge and our fraternity.
