The Petaluma Masonic hall was built in 1881 and is a wonderful example of Victorian architecture in Sonoma County. The building was completely renovated in 1995, including the addition of an elevator to make every floor fully handicapped-accessible. Although the building as all the modern conveniences of newer buildings, it still maintains an atmosphere of the late 1800s. Our first floor is leased by local Petaluma businesses. All of our leases are long-term and we enjoy a close working relationship with the business owners.
From weddings to parties, executive dinners to town meetings, many people approach us asking to rent space in our building for their event. We open the second and third floors for rentals Friday through Sunday, pending prior commitments. Interested in renting a space? Second Floor Meeting Room
The second floor contains the main Lodge room, a small chapel, and the building business offices. Suitable for weddings, business meetings, and other stately affairs, groups as few as ten and as large as two-hundred have used the space for their events, including the hosting of an Apollo astronaut! Third Floor Dining Room
The third floor contains the dining facilities, the main room of which can seat 104 for dinner. With its hardwood floor, this room is perfect for dances and other festive events. The room comes equipped with tables and chairs at no extra charge. A beautiful, antique upright piano is also located in the room. Rental of the third floor also includes the use of the large commercial-sized kitchen, which contains a large refrigerator, freezer, and a 12-burner stove. Silverware and flatware can be rented for a reasonable additional fee. Here is a picture of the dining room, from the foyer.
