Greetings Brethren!
I certainty hope you enjoyed your month off and spent it with family and friends. August is degree month! We have a first degree for Mr. Sonnenberg coming up on August 11, and I have it on good authority that we will get to enjoy the long form lecture by William Padgett PM of this lodge! Then, we plan on taking a bit of a trip to Santa Rosa Luther Burbank lodge #57 for a third degree on the 18th, then we will be having our own third degree on the 25th for Brother Dorethy.
Being raised to the sublime degree of Master Mason is a lifetime achievement, and it is our duty as Master Masons to pass along those traditions and honors to future Masonic generations.
We are moving into the second half of the year, and that means we will be gearing up for advanced stations, proficiencies, elections, annual communications, and the holidays! Taking all of these events to heart with planned days off is how I foresee our lodge reasonably managing our time.
Lastly, we are looking for a few fine Masons to become mentors to prospective members and candidates, if this interests you, please let me know.
