Elected and appointed to wear the mantle of leadership, our 2017 officer team continues a proud tradition of serving both the Petaluma community in general and our Lodge in particular. Committed to preserving the rich history of our Craft and of our building, these men represent the most recent link in an unbroken chain that extends back to our Lodge’s founding in 1855.

Raised in 2008, William jumped right into the line and has served diligently ever since. As Master he focuses on bringing the lodge together with events and modernization while maintaining time honored traditions of the craft. Having been a Mason since 2013 and currently serving as Junior Warden, Alexander has also served in both Deacon chairs and as Senior Steward. He loves the rich symbolism in our ritual and the close community that Masonry provides. He looks forward to helping the Lodge thrive in the 21st century. asaslow@masons180.org

George Whitten, PM

Treasurer

A constant source of wisdom and stability for the Lodge since 1990, George has served faithfully in many capacities, most notably in long terms as Treasurer and Secretary, also finding time to be very active in the Hall Association and Rainbow Assemblies. Joseph Zusin, PM

Secretary

Joe Zusin is a Past Master of our Lodge; during his 25 years in Masonry he served as our Treasurer for two years as well as the Secretary for four years. With his experience dealing with Non-Profit Corporations and his background in corporate management; Joe brings the skills needed for this important position. jzusin@masons180.org

Martin McKeay, PM

Assistant Secretary

Martin has been involved in almost every branch of Masonry possible, including serving as the Most Illustrious Grand Master of Cryptic Council Masons for California in 2010. Actively participating in Commandery, Royal Arch, and the Allied Masonic Degrees, rare is the weeknight where Martin isn’t participating in Lodge events. mmckeay@masons180.org

David Lopez, PM

Chaplain

Dave has served the Lodge for many years as its Chaplain, providing spiritual counsel and guidance to the membership and officers for more than a decade. He is also very active in the York Rite and finds himself often attending meetings of Santa Rosa’s De Molay chapter and other youth groups. dlopez@masons180.org

Scott Taylor

With close ties to the Petaluma Rainbow Assembly, Scott has provided constant and consistent support to both the Lodge and our Youth Orders. His daughter even served as a Grand Officer for the state Rainbow Assembly! He can always be found helping out with our activities and events. staylor@masons180.org

Don Nicodemus

Senior Deacon

Don has a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of California at Berkeley and works at the Novato Unified School District as a Systems Analyst. He was made a master mason in November 2014. David Kinnison

Junior Deacon

David joined Masonry in 2011 and has found it to be the most satisfying and fulfilling group he has ever belonged to. As an officer and active member the rewards he gleaned from the ritual and symbolic lessons have made him become proud to be a Mason. dkinnison@masons180.org

Brian Brozovic

Senior Steward

After being made a Texas Mason in 2007, Brian joined Petaluma-Hamilton Lodge #180 in 2016. He serves various capacities, including social media coordinating and as Secretary on the Hall Association. Brian is a member of the York Rite, The Grand College of Rites, and interested in Masonic symbolism, ritual, and esotericism. bbrozovic@masons180.org

One of Petaluma-Hamilton’s newest officers, Kirk is always quick to volunteer and help out with events, meetings, and degree practices.
